During the period when the writ of the election is issued, the BC government will continue to accept and consider feedback and comments from the public on topics that are open for comment on an ongoing basis.  However to ensure strict adherence with the BC Elections Act, communications back to the public will only be done for items that are statutory in nature or necessary for the health and safety of British Columbians.

The writ of election is issued on April 11, 2017, the start of the provincial election period, until May 31, 2017.
